Keep on Keepin on

Hi my name is Lenore, and I’m blessed to be a child of the king.

I share the Lord’s passion for pint size people. This is one of my favourite passages. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” ( Matthew 19:14 )
I also love God’s furry little creatures, and I won’t tell you how many we have.:)

Anyway, in my past I’ve enjoyed caring for, and teaching kids. I was blessed with four kids of our own, whom I was able to homeschool. It was so fun! I’ve served in the church setting as a Sunday school teacher for many years. And I’ve enjoyed crafting and creating wonderful adventures with kids, trying to help them learn about our awesome God.

Things have changed for me a bit. I have an autoimmune disorder, and this has made it difficult for me to match the energy level of these sweet little souls. When are we ever able to match their energy?:) Anyway, I haven’t stopped participating in sharing the love of the Lord with them entirely, and my intent is always to do so in some way.

But because of my illness the Lord has changed my focus a bit. Now He is showing me how to manage my health, sharing lots of resources and ideas to keep well. This is something I would like to pass on to others. So my new intent is to also share solutions which I believe achieve good health. I also want to share that God loves us very much, and that He’s there to helps us all overcome our trials.
