I step into the Auditorium of Life, vast, buzzing, busy and full of people beyond that which my eyes can readily absorb. I find a seat, not too near the front, and settle down with anticipation. Of what, I wonder. I am told that the speaker, as yet unknown and un-named, will be life-defining and that what I hear and learn today will completely change my destiny and that of everyone else.
There is palpable excitement as a Figure fills the stage that somehow seems to embrace and surround us all. An immense hush descends with a collective holding of breath. This One has no amplification assistance and yet His voice is loud, clear and strong. Wrap-around screens portray His image, Light almost too bright to gaze upon. He speaks. Quite authoritative, quite commanding yet with a disconcerting warmth as He welcomes everyone. He introduces Himself as the Father of Life and expresses the importance of this occasion, that it has long ago been written upon the celestial calendar. I try to settle comfortably but find I am on the edge of my seat as I await His words.
From those screens, His intense gaze is piercing the dazzling Light of His Presence. He is searching faces yet knows precisely where to settle His eyes.
I begin to feel uncomfortable, even to squirm and try to hide behind those in front of me. It seems as if they are simply melting away and I sense I am somehow being moved forward.
The Father of Life extends His arm, pointing and beckoning in my direction. Perhaps it is to the one beside me. He begins to descend the platform and walk towards me. I start to shake as this Presence stands before me and says “Come. It is your time. It is you. You must speak,” and He touched my mouth. It was as though hot coals seared me and I saw arrows of fire shooting through my body. He escorted me to the stage, stepped aside and said “Speak, for you already are what you are yet to become. Speak. Show the world who and what you are and you will discover yourself as you do.”
Words began to tumble from my still hot lips and with previously uncustomary boldness, I spoke.

I am I-SCRIBE. I am a writer and I carry and convey words of life. I belong to the living Christ. He has made His home in me and I have my being in Him. We are one in the Spirit and from that oneness I am being transformed from glory to glory. Each step a story.
God is Who He says He is.
God can do what He says He can do.
I am who God says I am.
I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.
His Word is alive and active in me.

I am a member of the Christian Creative Academy, a member of the family of God and privileged to be a tool, an implement through which the mighty pen of God can flow. I write in many formats, some of which I am still discovering, but they include teaching, various forms of poetry, short stories, courses … and in process of becoming are blogs, podcasts and other forms of communication. I would also like to produce a couple of children’s ‘tales with truth attached’ stories. I have written and self-published a coffee table devotional and have poems in several anthologies.
